An Evening with S.P.O.D

As many of you already know, Staffordshire Porsche Owners & Drivers doesn’t usually hold a monthly pub meet-up like some other Porsche groups. That’s because we prefer to focus on great drive-outs, fantastic meets, and memorable events.

However, for one night only this August, we’re doing something a little different!

🚗 An Evening with S.P.O.D.

Join us for a relaxed evening at the beautiful The Moat House, Acton Trussell.

The Moat House is part of The Lewis Partnership, a family-run business that also owns The Dog & Doublet at Sandon. Many of you will already know them through Porsche @ The Hall, where they’ve been fantastic supporters of our event for the past three years. We’re delighted to be working with them once again.

A stunning Grade II listed manor house hotel set in the Staffordshire countryside, The Moat House boasts its own tranquil lake, a 2 AA Rosette restaurant, and is just four miles from Stafford with easy access to the M6.

🍽️ From 6:00 PM – If you’d like to enjoy dinner before the meet, you’re very welcome to join us.

Also in addition to the main menu they are kindly putting on for us an outdoor BBQ menu to ensure speedy service which looks great

• Dunwood Farm beef brisket burger, caramelised onions, American cheese, seeded brioche bun (£12.50)

• Pork, chipotle and Cheddar sausage, caramelised onions, seeded brioche bun (£11)

• Spiced bean burger, pulled jackfruit, plant�based Cheddar, seeded brioche bun (vegan option available) (£10.50)

• Lamb kofta kebabs, Tzatziki, flat bread (£14)

• Piri Piri chicken kebabs, smashed avocado, soured cream, flatbread (£14)

🚘 From 7:00 PM – If you’re not dining, come along from 7:00 PM to meet fellow Porsche enthusiasts for a relaxed evening of stunning cars, great company, and a little tyre-kicking by the beautiful lakeside.

Whether you’re a long-standing member or new to the group, this is a great opportunity to put faces to names, chat all things Porsche, and enjoy an evening together in a fantastic setting.
